Parent Education Groups
Group Connection
Fun, educational or community events for parents to connect with other parents in our program. Georgia Strong Families offers group connections monthly so that parents can bring their child and learn new information, obtain social support, and share their experiences with others. Group Connections are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
Childbirth Education
Six-week session that teaches parents what to expect during childbirth and how to prepare for labor and delivery. Topics include: the birthing process, pain control, breathing and relaxation techniques, birth planning, caring for baby, postpartum care, breastfeeding, and more. Fathers are encouraged to attend with mom. Sessions are held three times a year both virtually and in-person.

“Play, Learn, & Connect” Play Groups
In-person group sessions that are open to the community and provides child development education to families. Our monthly playgroups provide an incredible opportunity for children to learn, thrive, and socialize while providing parents with educational activities that they can continue with their little ones at home.
