LENA Start Preview

Description

LENA Start classes are FREE – they help parents and caregivers of infants and toddlers close the “talk gap.” Together with your class, you’ll explore practical strategies to start more conversations with children. LENA’s engaging curriculum will teach you brain-building talk skills through instructional videos, peer-group sharing, printed resources, and self-reflection.

With LENA Start, you get:

  • Use of LENA technology during the program
  • Clear, entertaining lessons featuring videos and hands-on activities
  • Take-home parent materials
  • Easy-to-use Talking Tips to build conversations with your child every day
  • Sharing with other parents of young children
  • Free “Shared Reading” books to take home

There are limited seats available – we are offering two sessions this summer (starting June 5th) – choose from the following:

Class A: 11-12pm

Class B: 2-3pm

The LENA Start Summer Series will begin Wednesday June 5th at the Columbus Government Center Annex (UGA Cooperative Extension Office, 420 10th Street, Columbus, GA 31901). Come to see what all the talk is about – Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 1pm.
