Trauma Informed System of Care: In this presentation we’ll discuss the trauma-informed approach to working with children who may have been traumatized by abuse, neglect, family dysfunction, grief and loss or other major event. We’ll talk about ways in which professionals, and their organizations, can take steps to minimize re-trauma to children and families, foster resilience and build on individual and family strengths. This webinar is for parents and for professionals working with children. CEU’s will be provided for nurses and social workers. Certificates of attendance will be provided.
