GSF’s Preconception Project aims to work with individual to improve their own health, promote family planning, and empower their success. Preconception refers to an individual who has no children and has either never been pregnant, delivered a stillborn infant, or has previously had a miscarriage or abortion. We work to improve health, enhance their access to quality care, discuss reproductive life planning (such as contraception options and planning pregnancy), and promote education, screenings, and treatment. Participants receive quarterly mailings that include health education and community resource information throughout a 12-month period.
