Recognition and Reporting: This presentation will focus on how to recognize risk factors or signs that physical and sexual abuse, neglect, and sexual exploitation may be occurring. You will also learn about the basics of the mandatory reporting laws relating to child abuse in Georgia, including the most recent changes to the Mandated Reporting statute. We will also briefly discuss the DFCS reporting process.This webinar is for parents and for professionals working with children. CEU’s will be provided for nurses and social workers. Certificates of attendance will be provided.
